The Gift Aid scheme applies if you pay tax in the UK. When you make donations out of your net income, the charity reclaims the tax, which you paid on that part of your gross income or capital gains. Remember to notify the LNER Coach Association if a) you stop paying income tax or capital gains at least equal to the tax we reclaim (at 22% tax rate: 28p for every £1 you give). Otherwise you may incur additional liability to tax; b) you later change your name and address and then make further gift aid payments; c) you wish subsequently to cancel this declaration. The association will cease to claim Gift Aid on payments made on or after the date of cancellation, which you specify
